Though, Defective Man! is the first completed full-length film released by SB-Films, it is by no means their first effort. The production company boasts several short films of various subject and genre, as well as a weekly sketch comedy show, televised in New Mexico.

Cast and Crew
What ensues, is Troma-esque comic crimefighting- hilarious fight scenes, involving breakdancing hoodlums, gambling nuns, ferrets up trees [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], topless women, the list goes on.
It is good intentions versus evil plot, in this campy comedy from SB-Films. The full cut of Defective Man! will be released in 2010. In the meantime, enjoy updates and clips on the SB-Films website.
We soon come to learn, that things weren't always this way for Defective Man (Paul Alsing) and Horn Dog (Arturo Negro). A horrendous accident [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], involving cleaning supplies and a photocopy machine, took place in that very office- and the transformation began. Sadly, the "transformation" only effected the personalities of these two unfortunates, leaving them heroes, only in their own imagination.
Here, the real adventure begins, as Defective Man and Horn Dog join forces with fellow not-so-super-heroes "Captain Orange-Piss" (Steve Eckles) (whose "powers" should be obvious) and "Bill Gill" (Josh Saavedra) (who speaks only in words that rhyme with his name) in their own crime-fighting agency. The team sets out to thwart giggling super villain "Hevvy Flo", who also happens to be Defective Man's ex-girlfriend, and her partner, motivational speaker "Ronny Tobins" (played by Troma superstar Trent Haaga) in their evil, convoluted scheme to flood the great city of Albuquerque, using explosives and hallucinogenic drugs.
As well as being the first full-length release, Defective Man! marks the first collaboration with Writer/Producer Steven Eckles, who approached Writer/Director Ryan Mowry with a preliminary script in 2006, after viewing a SB-Films short film at a festival.
Though much of the cast seems below what you might call Hollywood par", the comic script does an excellent job of pulling them through and choice "celebrity" actors make up for some of the less engaging characters.
One must also keep in mind that, as is sadly common in Low/no-budget Independent films, many of the actors [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], including the two primaries, were replaced multiple times. This also contributed slightly longer than expected shooting time, as many scenes had to be re-shot, with new actors, which only makes the final outcome of this film all the more impressive.
Set (and filmed) in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Defective Man begins with an ordinary day at the office. Ordinary, with the exception of two office workers dressed in spandex (and other somewhat disturbing superhero garb) and speaking in third person and deliberate innuendo (respectively).
Fighting Crime, the Defective Way
He is "Defective Man!" His sidekick, "Horn Dog". Together, they fight crime. Sort of.
Though, the two "heroes" no longer fit in, and more often than not, cause only difficulty for their fellow workers, they are kept on, due to formalities involving the "Disability Act", until the powers that be decide they'd rather just pay the duo to stay away from the office.
