1.) Cycle time is influenced by void volume, the portion of the vacuum chamber that is not occupied by the product to be sealed. Filling unused space with poly boards reduces cycle time. 3.) The gas flush option automatically flushes the vacuum chamber with inert gas (most commonly nitrogen) after evacuation of air, and before sealing. Items as fragile as potato chips can be vacuum sealed without damage using this option.
