I like to keep these ingredients on hand so I can make a quick, easy, healthy meal any time. As far as frozen vegetables go, my favorite are the Target brand. They are inexpensive and good quality. If you prefer to use fresh veggies, I would recommend red, yellow, and orange bell peppers, snap peas, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and carrots.
5. Add Tamari to the vegetables when halfway done. Tamari is a soy sauce that has a stronger flavor and less sodium. It is a Japanese style soy sauce made from the remnants in the process of aging miso. If you’re not fond of the flavor, you could use whatever soy sauce you prefer.

1. Drain and press the tofu. If you have never pressed tofu, it is done by layering paper towels on a small plate, place the tofu on top, and then put more paper towels on top.Put a plate upside-down on top of the tofu AF 1 Low Shoes, then place something heavy, like a book, on top. Let it sit for 5 minutes or so. This process will remove excess water and make the tofu easier to fry.
As far as the rice goes, if I'm in a rush I use minute rice, but if you have the time I would recommend trying jasmine or brown rice. Jasmine rice has a very nice, distinct flavor. Brown rice has a nutty taste and chewier texture than white rice. Brown rice tastes especially great with Tamari.

Tofu that comes in water fries much better than the tofu that comes in a box. The benefit to the tofu in a box is that it lasts months where as the tofu that comes in water must be used within a few days. If you don't use all the tofu in water, drain the water and replace it with fresh. That will lengthen the time it will stay fresh.
