She is textbook-definition foxy, to the Christian Louboutin heel born. <br />Foxy and busy. Today, in her and husband Sting’s duplex on New York’s Central Park West, Styler is reviewing a new trailer for her latest producing effort, A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints. A coming-of-age drama set between gritty 1980s Queens and the present day, the film stars Robert Downey Jr. and an ensemble cast so heady it prompted the judges at this year’s Sundance Film Festival to inaugurate a Best Ensemble Award. <br />Styler, dressed in a sheer patterned black-and-white Gaultier top, white sailor pants, and, bien s?r, white Christian Louboutin espadrilles, is at the center of a beehive of activity involving assistants, PR reps, assorted film execs, and her chef of 14 years, Joe Sponzo. “As you can see, in New York, I work from home,” she smiles. <br />The muse must often visit the Styler/Sting residence, which the couple has owned for more than 20 years and recently placed on the market. Warm and rich in details, it’s without any grand rock-star-ish self-consciousness. Red velvet covers plush sofas (“Verrrry Victorian boudoir,” says Sryler, throwing herself on one dramatically) and also the chairs of an exquisite dark-wood Frank Lloyd Wright dining set. I he period feel is enhanced by a majestic 18th-century Florentine painting in the adjacent library. A grand piano dominates the living room, under which lie several guitars and a lute. The lute is Sting’s newest obsession and the instrument of choice on his new CD, Songs From the Labyrinth, out this month. He pails around the apartment, skirting the Styler storm, periodically picking it up. <br />Giant cappuccino in hand, Styler ponders her constant christian louboutin sheos activity. “I think that if I have a skill, I am a good connector.” She has an immense appetite for work, which has manifested itself this year: the Rainforest Foundation benefit concert in New York; her role as UNICEF ambassador, which will see her going to Pakistan and India with friend Jemima Khan this month; and an acting gig on the Brit comedy series Love Soup,cheap UGG Roseberry boots, now airing on BBC America. <br />Styler is also devoted to the couples four children: oldest daughter Mickey, 22, Jake, 21, Coco, 16,classic mini ugg boot, and Giacomo, 10. She starts laughing when remembering the last family outing. “Mickey was dancing on a pole the other night in L.A.” Faux concerned-parent sigh. “You know, everyone’s swinging around poles in L.A. I even had a go….” <br />Styler has a slow, deep laugh that makes you think she has naughty ideas on her mind. Quite often, she does. She is lamed for her parties. “I love the idea of people coming together, eating good food, drinking a bit more than they should…. And I’m going to be the one sitting next to the most beautiful boy in the room.
